Harvest Chapel International (HCI) is the church arm of Harvest International Ministries (HIM), an international Christian organization, pursuing the agenda of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples of all nations. This has now grown into a network of mission-minded Harvest Chapel International churches, gradually spreading throughout the world.
The Ministry’s origin dates back to 1976) in Accra, Ghana, with the formation of Calvary Road Incorporated – an evangelistic group which functioned predominantly through its music wing named The Calvary Road Singers - and also through drama. After many years of effective frontline Christian service, the ministry, in obedience to the direction of the Holy Spirit, in 1992 transitioned into the church phase of ministry – while retaining its foundational outreach orientation.
Moving forward with its divine mandate, the grace of God has enabled the ministry to remain at the forefront of Christian music ministry
The scope of HIM is not limited exclusively to HCI/church-centered activities alone but extends into the wider body of Christ as well as impacting communities, and addressing the concerns of society. These include but not limited to other programs and activities like Harvest Medical Missions, Rural and City Crusades, and Educational Outreaches. In this regard HIM has had, and continues to have viable partnerships with other organizations and institutions to further its cause for Christ.
In line with the Lord’s mandate in John 4:35 to, “… lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest”. Harvest International Ministries (HIM) will continue to make greater impact for His Kingdom.
Core Values: Harvest International Ministry stands on the pillars of seven core values and is committed to seeing these embedded in its members at the individual, family and organizational levels. These values are:
• Holy Ambition
• Hard Work
